So I found this interesting…

According to Acapulco Gold’s official website, Hat Club is an official retailer for them. What’s so interesting about this is that the two 69ers snapbacks featured in this shop haven’t even been released in Acapulco Gold’s official online shop. Or anywhere else for that matter. These two snapbacks are a part of the Summer 2012 line, which isn’t even supposed to drop until next week.

This wouldn’t be such a big deal, but these hats have a history. The two first 69ers snapbacks were released back in the Summer of 2010. After the hats sold out, they were impossible to find. Quite a few months ago, I found out that Acapulco Gold was releasing more 69ers snapbacks in different colors. Of course I was stoked about it. I’ve been watching the website for months, waiting to hear a peep about it. They’ve managed to keep it hushed for a while, but then announced it a couple of days ago. It seems like They know the new hats will be a hit.

I’m just wondering if the official site knows about Hat Club selling them early.

Sorry for going on about that.A lot of you probably don’t even care. Haha. But I suppose this is a little bit of a look into my life. I’m really into stuff like this. Congratulations if you’ve actually read all of this post up to this point. You win!

The forces of nature want me to spend my entire paycheck, and then some, in one day. It’s inevitable. I don’t know why I bother to resist.

I’m not sure how this all started, but Iive become obsessed with some of the hyped up clothing sites on the internet.The competitive side of me is brought out when I find out what day and time a website gets a shipment in. being able to obtain a rare item of clothing just out of sheer determination is strangely satisfying to me. it’s great that Kim loves this kind of thing too, because most of the time, these exclusive things are more for guys and not girls. I love that he wants my help with this kind of stuff.

Every Thursday now, I wake up at 10:30 to make sure I’m all set to make any purchases when Supreme gets their shipment in at 11am. Tomorrow, I’m gonna stay up for a shipment on Rip N Dip. Next, I’m going to need to find out when Acapulco Gold is getting their next line in. They’re finally going to have a snapback I’ve been waiting for since backing in December or January.

I don’t know what it is about all of this that’s so exciting to me, but it doesn’t seem to be getting old yet. I just love it.
