I love having a job. Not so much the actual working part of it, but it’s really nice to have money to spend. I’ve never been able to buy nice things that I’ve wanted. I didn’t grow up with a wealthy family. They couldn’t exactly buy me the best name brand items out there.

Ugh. Not only does it feel great to be able to buy things that I wouldn’t normally have, it feels absolutely amazing that I could buy them all by myself. I love not having to burden my parents with my petty desires. Before I had a job, I’d always feel bad asking my parents for money to buy frivolous things. I mean, I’m not exactly ballin’ now, but I’m so happy to be able to buy things for myself. So happy.
